General Information:
Due to the wildlife onsite, I’m afraid we do not allow guests to bring dogs.
As a Dry Hire venue, your wedding couple have hired in their own choice of caterer/foodtrucks/wedding suppliers for their day. These are not provided by Upthorpe Wood therefore if you have any dietary requirements, these should be directed to your couple.
As a licensed venue, we do not allow guests to bring drinks (soft or alcoholic) onsite… it would mean that you are asked to leave the venue and your wedding couple will loose their cash bond.
Children must be supervised at all times by an adult.
Our toilet unit has 4 steps leading up to it. Your wedding couple have the option to hire in disabled toilets if they deem them necessary. Our toilet does not have baby changing facilities but your wedding couple may set one up in a quiet location if they choose.
If you are bringing in your own confetti, please can we ask that you use natural petal confetti only.
some areas are not suitable for stilettos.
The Bar accepts cash/cards (excluding American Express)
The venue is covered by CCTV.
We have lots of local Air BnBs and several campsites within 2 miles, check by postcode IP31 2AP.

Taxis will need to be pre-ordered as we’re in a rural area with no Uber. Waiting times at the end of the evening will often be a couple of hours.
